Board Meeting Minutes---Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2006

The meeting was called to order by President Elsie Munson at 7:00 pm. Trustees present: Evelyn Brefeld, Kathy Kucik, Doug Liston, Elsie Munson and Director Maria Zawacki. Absent: Mary Jo Farrell, Kathy Hughes, Edna Robel.

A motion was made by Kathy Kucik and seconded by Evelyn Brefeld to accept the minutes of the Dec. 13, 2005, minutes with the noted correction: 2 motions indicated that Edna Robel was absent. Correction: Elsie Munson was absent. Motion carried. Abstained: Doug Liston, Elsie Munson.

A motion was made by Doug Liston and seconded by Kathy Kucik to approve payment of the bills in the amount of $45,933.32 (general fund) and $1670.00 (building fund). Motion carried. Ayes: Evelyn Brefeld, Doug Liston, Kathy Kucik, Elsie Munson.

Nayes: none. Absent: Mary Jo Farrell, Kathy Hughes, Edna Robel.

Treasurer’s Report: ½ way thru the year….everything looks good

Committee Reports: none

Correspondence:

• PALS correspondence regarding the “Smartest Card” campaign
• Kiwanis Club thank you for our help with the coat drive.
• Reference responses regarding National International Roofing…very positive….our first inspection will be the beginning of April.

Director’s Report: Maria relayed a message from the staff, thanking us for their Christmas gifts.

Adjournment: A motion was made by Evelyn Brefeld and seconded by Kath Kucik to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried. The meeting was adjourned at 7:20 pm.
