DIRECTOR’S REPORT

April 2014

  1. “Blind Date” Adult/YA Winter Reading Program:

There were 98 completed entries submitted for this year’s Blind Date with a Book reading program, with Debra Flicek drawn randomly as the winner.  And thanks to Heather’s volunteer helpers for wrapping all those books!

  1. Lights by Library Entrance:

I contacted Tim Hartnett on March 31 for a follow-up on this and he replied, “The new contractors for the next phase of Johnsburg Rd have not started the project yet.  Once they have the pre con I can ask them and their subs for a quote for the library and rescue squad park…should get underway in the next few weeks.  Keep you posted.”
