Heather Lipman’s “Blind Date with a Book” display for the month of February was probably the most popular adult display we’ve ever done. We could not keep the shelves filled! (A picture from the Facebook post is attached.) Patrons have until March 15 to turn in their entry form, so we’ll know then how many books were actually read. For the children’s winter reading program, there were 91 completed book logs submitted.
Attached is info typed up for staff regarding a recent incident at the library. Needless to say, those of us who were working here that morning were definitely uneasy when this person walked in. The police have always encouraged us to call 911 anytime we feel uncomfortable about our safety.
