In 2001 the Johnsburg Public Library received a $55,000 grant from the Illinois State Library to establish a Homeschool Resource Center.  Since then, the HRC has served hundreds of families from all around.  With the HRC's materials you can "try before you buy".  Our wide variety of curriculum materials includes Sonlight, Alpha Omega, Singapore Math, Five in a Row, and more.  See what's right for your family's unique needs before you start spending a lot of money.  Our Open House is the perfect opportunity for current homeschoolers to get re-energized, and for those thinking about homeschooling to ask questions and get real answers.

USED CURRICULUM FLEA MARKET, 9:30 am to 1:00 pm

Buy, sell, and ask lots of questions.  A limited number of indoor tables, half-tables and parking lot spaces are available by advance reservation only.  Those who do not register in advance may bring a blanket and use the lawn to sell.
