Ask A Reference Question By Email

The library staff will be happy to answer questions that require short, specific answers, or help suggest places that you may search for more complex answers. We can also collect a few books and have them held at the circulation desk for you.

We are not able to answer technical, computer-related
questions or do research in genealogy.

Please be as specific as possible and give us as much information as you can. Tell us where you have already looked, and why you need the answer (for example, for a two-page paper, or for a job interview). If you are in school, tell us your grade level too.  If you wish to request specific titles, use theonline catalogs or theInterlibrary loan form.  Full-Text Magazine Articles are available through the FirstSearch Database

The library staff will respond by email or phone as soon as possible.  If you need an answer quickly, please call the library at 815-344-0077.
